Mr. Svinth has been consulting in the U.S. and internationally on various aspects of acoustics and vibration and has worked continuously as an acoustical consultant since 1997. He has consulted on numerous projects for public, private and government clients. This includes the study of environmental noise and vibration related to land-use compatibility, noise control for conventional and alternative energy power generation systems, and the testing and design of sound isolation and room acoustics systems for all types of residential structures, entertainment venues, religious facilities, and industrial buildings. In addition to his work in acoustics, he has professional experience as a power plant field engineer and an architectural designer. Mr. Svinth holds degrees in Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo (BSME, 1989), and Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin (M.Arch, 1996). Mr. Svinth is a member of both the Institute of Noise Control Engineers and the Acoustical Society of America, and an Associate of the American Institute of Architects.
